Rigid gas permeable aspheric back central zone, aspheric optics with possibility of toric periphery,
The elliptic geometry of Epsilon CORNEA 2 zones in conjunction with the toric periphery offers improved lens stabilization when vision is optimal but the fitter wishes better lens stabilization, in cases of corneal astigmatism greater than 1.50 D.
Indications:
Myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism up to 2.50 D, first and second stage of keratoconus
Available parameters:
Base curves: 7.00 to 8.60 mm in 0.10mm steps, aspheric
Toric periphery: 0.20 to 1.00 mm in 0.10 steps
Diopters: +25.00 to -35.00 in 0.25 D steps

Optics eccentricity: -0.70 to 0.70 in 0.05 steps
Diameters: 9.00 to 11.50 in 0.10 steps
Materials: High Dk 100, Medium Dk 50

The Epsilon CORNEA 2 zones can fulfill those cases where bicurve lenses provide acceptable vision in medium or high astigmatism, but not the required stability due to the back zone alignment or toric periphery requirement. Additionally, there are indicated cases where the periphery of the lens is protruding from the cornea, increasing the lid awareness.

The most versatile gas permeable lens for keratoconus
The geometry that will fit even the most prominent conus, conical shape and cone shaped transplanted cornea. The gradual aspheric design meets corneal shape complexity.
Indications:
Keratoconus, post graft
Available parameters:
Base curves: 5.10 to 8.60 in 0.10mm steps, aspheric design

Diopters: +20.00 to -35.00 in 0.25 D steps

Eccentricity: -0.70 to 0.70 in 0.05 steps

Toric periphery: 0.20 to 1.00 mm in 0.10 steps

Diameters: 8.50 το 10.20 mm in 0.10 steps

Materials: High Dk 100, Medium Dk 50

The Epsilon KC 3 zones lens has a three-curve gradual aspheric fitting and aspheric optic zone design. The different peripheral curve parameters have the scope to fit successfully the vast majority of keratoconus cases, without additional customization. The optic zone of Epsilon KC 3 zones is usually 7.50 mm to ensure coverage of the pupil in any lighting conditions and even in cases of increased lens mobility.

Toric or inverse geometry GP lens with 4 fitting zones for stabilization or gradual toric peripheral fitting
In contact lens fitting, it’s known that when normal geometries do not succeed the desired stabilization or centration, inverse geometry is used (secondary curve, steeper that the base curve). The Epsilon PK 4 zones design comes to cover all those cases, integrating back and/or front toric correction.
Indications:
Post keratoplasty, corneal shapes with increased height differences at various quadrants, high toric anterior corneas
Available parameters:
Base curves: 7.00 to 9.60 in 0.10mm steps

Astigmatism: Up to 12.00D depending on the fitting modality

Toric periphery: 0.20 to 1.00 mm in 0.10 steps

Diopters: +40.00 to -35.00 in 0.25 D steps

Front toric optics : up to 6.00 D in 0.25 steps

Optics eccentricity: -0.70 to 0.70 in 0.05 steps

Diameters: 9.50 to 12.50 mm in 0.10 steps

Materials: High Dk 100, Medium Dk 50

It’s the first lens choice for cases succeeding penetrating keratoplasty, when a graft is positioned higher than the patient’s corneal shape.
In certain cases, diameters up to 12.50 mm are used to obtain better centration and optical correction.

Multifocal GP lens with central zone for distance or near
Epsilon MULTIFOCAL lens has a unique design, combining aspheric optics and fitting curves, plus enhanced peripheral near zone, correcting presbyopia up to 3.50 D.
Indications:
Presbyopia, myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism
Available parameters:
Base curves: 7.00 to 8.60 in 0.10mm steps, aspheric

Diopters: +40.00 to -35.00 in 0.25 D steps

Addition: 1.00 to 3.50 D in 0.25 D steps

Distance zone: 2.00 to 6.00 mm in 0.50 mm steps

Optics eccentricity: -0.70 to 0.70 in 0.05 steps

Diameters: 9.50 to 10.20 in 0.10 mm steps

Materials: High Dk 100, Medium Dk 50

The design and fitting of the Epsilon MULTIFOCAL lenses, follow the general strategy of EYEART, aiming to fully customize lenses when it’s required to achieve optimum result. Aspheric fitting guarantees fluent transition of vision between the far and near segment of the lens. The distance or near center zone is customized according to the photopic and mesopic pupil diameter.
