Scleral lens for optimum optical stability and fit.

The SCLERAL lens design is fitted on any case of ectatic cornea or any case presenting asymmetric astigmatism. It’s the ideal solution for anomalous astigmatisms when the rest of the lens designs offered by EYEART Laboaratories do not satisfy the patients’ expectation or the lids position and tension alter the desired fit.
Indications:
Keratoconus, asymmetric astigmatism, post keratoplasty
Available parameters:
Sagittal heights: 3900 to 5200 microns
Diopters: +25.00 to -35.00 in 0.25 D steps
Diameters: 17.00 mm (additional parameters available)
Geometry: Five curve aspheric
Material: BOSTON XO Dk 100

Scleral lens fitting is known for solving any issues presented with corneal lenses in terms of stabilization. In addition to the material stability and stable positioning, scleral lenses offer the maximum optical performance, except for the case when corneal apex heavy bearing is chosen by the fitter.
